2026 UMP CDHP

UMP Consumer-Directed Health Plan (CDHP) covers all the same services as UMP Classic, but has a lower monthly premium and a higher deductible. UMP CDHP automatically enrolls members in a health savings account (HSA), which allows you to set aside pre-tax money to pay for qualified medical and prescription drug expenses. Once the money is in your account, it’s yours, and there is no deadline to use it. For specific rules and information related to enrollment and eligibility, visit hca.wa.gov/employee-retiree-benefits/public-employees.

Your out-of-pocket limit depends on the number of persons enrolled in the plan:

  • One member enrolled: $4,200
  • Two or more members enrolled: $8,400
    • Once a member meets $7,000 in covered out-of-pocket expenses annually, the plan will pay for covered services at 100% for that member.
